Akash is building Elato, an AI-powered Storytelling Toy for kids aged 3–8. He maintains ElatoAI, an open-source project with over 1.8K GitHub stars, which OpenAI features in its official Cookbook as a voice AI on hardware example. He studied Computer Engineering at UIUC and previously worked as a product engineer at Asana and Coursera.
