While we will continue to do on-the-ground events, as a company, we are betting our skin on e-events including Online Expos.

We believe e-events solve many problems posed by traditional on-the-ground events. They are cost efficient. They are scalable. Geographic boundries and distances don’t matter. And, most importantly they are friendlier to the Earth by multiple degrees.

We realise that the eco-system is not fully ready yet. Be it the platforms, the exhibitors or the visitors.

And, that’s good news.

We believe that the situation is similar to what e-commerce firms faced after the burst of dot-com bubble in 2002. Many shut down and many others stopped investing.

But, one company continued to invest in ecommerce. Many laughed at that firm, and its founder. But, they persisted.

And, now they’re the world’s most valuable firm!
